Dear Zinovy,

If the DORIS system has the possibility of external control, we can 
probably implement something to turn it on and off if and only if VLBI 
data is being recorded. Whether we can do this will depend on the 
details of how it works on the DORIS side. We would need to know the 
details. If it does not exist, but can be added, we would like to be 
involved in the design process to make sure that this feature will be 
useful for the FS.
