Subject: GSC wd35 SINEX series extended to 2020/DOY117


Dear Colleagues.

We have recently submitted 174 new SINEX files  for the
series gscwd35 to the IDS data centers. The submitted files
include new solution weeks in 2020, extending the series to
2020/DOY-117, and a resubmission of files for 2017-2019.

The details of this current submission are as follows:

(1) We replaced the SINEX files for 2017-2019, implementing
corrections to the processing for Cryosat2, HY-2A, Saral, & Jason-2
to be sure they picked up all of the newer stations.
Due to an error in the preprocessing, some stations were missing from
the GEODYN observation data files in 2017 & 2018 for these satellites.=20
The newer stations would still have have been present in the Jason-3
normal equations, so they would have still appeared in the weekly
solution SINEX file, but their coordinate estimation would have been weaken=
ed
due to the missing contribution from the other satellites.
This oversight has now been fixed.=20

(2) We also reprocessed all the satellite data from June 2019 -
December 2019,  in order to make sure all the data from the
new station at  St John's (Newfoundland) was labelled=20
as STKC, and not as STKD. (c.f. DORISMail No 1202 :=20
"Erratum Ground antenna types", Dec. 13, 2019).

(3) We have extended the gscwd35 series to May 3, 2020. We made sure
to include the new station (REUC) at La Reunion installed
on February 12, 2020, using the a priori
coordinates provided in DORISMAIL 1223 (March 5, 2020).
