(GSFC-61A0)" Subject: Delivery of gscwd28 SINEX files (2016-DOY185 to 2016-DOY269) SUMMARY OF GSC DORIS SUBMISSION for July 2016 to September 2016 wd28 SINEX files =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D November 23, 2016 This delivery consists of SINEX files in Normal equation (NEQ) format from the weeks of 2016-DOY185 to 2016-DOY269. We now announce that gscwd28 will now be our operational series. The relationship to our previous series (ITRF2014, Lemoine et al., 2016) is as follows: gscwd26: ITRF2014 series (Lemoine et al., 2016, Adv. Space Res.) gscwd27: gscwd26 + SARAL gscwd28: gscwd27 + changes to solar-array orientation modeling described below. The difference between the current wd28 series and the previous wd27 series is that for JASON-2, we now model the solar array motion using quaternions rather than relying on the attitude law and data file located at the IDS data centers for the Jason-2 spacecraft attitude changes. We have demonstrated at the IDS Workshop (2016, La Rochelle) and at the OSTST (2015, Reston) that the addition of this solar array modeling is beneficial. The previous generation of products always used the spacecraft quaternions for both the force model, and in the measurement model to correct the tracking-point to the center-of-mass of the spacecraft, and this continues to be the case with the wd28 series. We have updated the station coordinate set DPOD2008 to include the latest stations. Starting with DPOD2008v14, we augmented the station set with the coordinates for the following stations: ADHC, GONC, KEUC, MAUB, OWEC PDNC, ROWC, SOEB, SYQB. The previous analysis used DPOD2008v13, so 13 stations have been added: TRJB LAOB STKB GR4B SOEB SYQB MAUB PDNC OWEC ROWC ADHC KEUC GONC For the stations not in DPOD2008v14, the a priori coordinates were taken from DORISMAIL's or site ties, and then were adjusted using Jason-2 SLR+DORIS data (holding the other DORIS stations to DPOD2008, and the SLR stations fixed to SLRF2008).. The new stations come into play starting in late 2013. Currently, we are using DPOD2008v15. #---------------------------------------------------------- 1.
