In that paper, we analyzed how the independent DORIS data can be used to validate the performance of the existing IGS combined global TEC maps. As stated in DORISMail-1461 and IGSMAIL-8645, the derived DORIS-dSTEC product files are publicly accessible from the CAS data center at https://data.bdsmart.cn/pub/product/iono/doris/dstec/$YYYY/$DOY For details how the DORIS-dSTEC products are generated and how they can be used for validating GNSS-based ionospheric TEC maps, please refer to Li A, Wang N, Li Z, Liu A, Li Y, Wang L, Liu B (2026). DOI:10.1016/j.asr.2023.01.050 To further extend the use of NRT DORIS data for ionospheric analysis, we are planning to prepare an overview paper on Near-Real-Time DORIS Data for Ionospheric Applications. Potential topics include (but are not limited to) Overview of DORIS system and architectures DORIS data processing in ionospheric analysis Overview of NRT DORIS data Extraction of NRT DORIS-based STEC & dSTEC information Combing NRT DORIS data for global TEC mapping NRT DORIS data for GIM combination NRT DORIS data for ionospheric perturbation/sintillation analysis NRT DORIS data for ionospheric model assimilation ... We expect the the manuscript to be ready for submission late this year. If you have additional ideas or would like to contribute to this overview paper, please kindly consider to contact me (wangningbo@aoe.ac.cn), and we can discuss the next steps for manuscript preparation.
