****************************************************************************** dorismail 25-Jan-2023 13:11:26 Message No 1349 ****************************************************************************** Author: Moreaux Guilhem Subject: IDS CC - DPOD2020 version 1.0 Dear IDS users, The first version of the DORIS extension of ITRF2020 for Precise Orbit Dete= rmination (DPOD2020) is available at the CDDIS and IGN IDS data centers. The computation of the DPOD2020 solutions is similar to the one we used for= the DPOD2014. The DPOD2020 realizations are/will be deduced from DORIS pos= ition and velocity cumulative solutions (aligned to the ITRF2020) based on = the latest IDS weekly combined solution. After some preliminary validation = tests by the IDS Combination Center, the DPOD2020 solution is validated by = the POD validation group (F. Lemoine, A. Couhert, N. Zelensky and John Moya= rd). Like the DPOD2014, the DPOD2020 solution will be updated two times a y= ear and will be available in both SINEX and text formats. To facilitate the use of the latest version of the DPOD2020, as we did for = DPOD2014, we will put in the directory doris/products/dpod/ the two files d= pod2020_current.snx.Z and dpod2020_current.txt.Z. These files will always c= orrespond to the latest DPOD2020 solution (available in the subdirectory do= ris/products/dpod/dpod2020/). Note that until the IDS officially moves to the ITRF2020, the IDS Combinati= on Center will continue to update the DPOD2014 so, the doris/products/dpod/= directories at CDDIS and IGN will still include updated versions of the dp= od2014_current.snx.Z and dpod2014_current.txt.Z files. As soon as IDS will = move to ITRF2020, these two files will be definitively removed. If you have any question about the DPOD2020, do not hesitate to contact me. Best regards. G. Moreaux
