Dear IDS users,

The first version of the DORIS = extension of ITRF2020 for Precise Orbit Determination (DPOD2020) is availab= le at the CDDIS and IGN IDS data centers.

The computation of the DPOD2020= solutions is similar to the one we used for the DPOD2014. The DPOD2020 rea= lizations are/will be deduced from DORIS position and velocity cumulative s= olutions (aligned to the ITRF2020) based on the latest IDS weekly combined solution. After some preliminary validat= ion tests by the IDS Combination Center, the DPOD2020 solution is validated= by the POD validation group (F. Lemoine, A. Couhert, N. Zelensky and John = Moyard). Like the DPOD2014, the DPOD2020 solution will be updated two times a year and will be available i= n both SINEX and text formats.

To facilitate the use of the la= test version of the DPOD2020, as we did for DPOD2014, we will put in the di= rectory doris/products/dpod/ the two files dpod2020_current.snx.Z and dpod2020_current.txt.Z. These file= s will always correspond to the latest DPOD2020 solution (available in the = subdirectory doris/products/dpod/dpod2020/).

= Note that until the IDS officially moves to the ITRF2020, the IDS Combinati= on Center will continue to update the DPOD2014 so, the doris/products/dpod/= directories at CDDIS and IGN will still include updated versions of the dpod2014_current.snx.Z and dpod2014_curren= t.txt.Z files. As soon as IDS will move to ITRF2020, these two files will be definitiv= ely removed.
