Subject: HY-2A /  End of DORIS DATA




Dear Colleagues,



Please note that DORIS data from HY-2A has no longer been distributed since 
September 12th.  Since June 11 the satellite was in "orbit maintenance mode" 
with all the payloads onboard shutdown (altimeter, radiometer...),  except 
DORIS which remained ON. Then, on September 11th, NSOAS stopped the 
distribution of DORIS data. The mission is not officially stopped yet, but should
be soon.



Note also that during this orbit maintenance phase, some files have not been 
disseminated and are not available on IDS data centers, the list is below:



* For the DORIS raw data (RINEX format) there is a two-day data gap:

   July 29,30, 2020: days 211, 212 are missing (h2arx20211.001.Z and h2arx20212.001.Z)



* For the DORIS V2 data,

   - file h2adata461.001.Z<ftp://doris.ign.fr/pub/doris/data/h2a/h2adata461.001.Z>
   (cycle/arc 461),  3 days are missing (July 28,29, 30, 2020)



HY-2A, the first of a long series of Chinese oceanographic satellites, has 
been contributing for almost 9 years to the IDS and the Ocean community.



Congratulation to all the actors of this HY-2A mission and long life to the
 following HY-2 missions!
