****************************************************************************** dorismail 28-May-2019 13:27:22 Message No 1183 ****************************************************************************** Author: Ferrage Pascale Subject: Cryosat-2 / POE-F orbit standards Dear Colleagues, Following the DORISmail 1142 (Alexandre Couhert) here is the current status regarding the delivery of the orbits in POE-F standard: Cryosat2 has switched to the POE-F standard since Avril 27, 2019: first filename is : ssacs220.b19117.e19125.D__.sp3.001.Z (See email bellow for the filename convention) Then, the reprocessed Cryosat2 orbits in POE-F standard (all past period) will be delivered to IDS Data centers very soon. Best Regards, Pascale Ferrage De : Couhert Alexandre > Envoy=E9 : mardi 30 octobre 2018 10:17 =C0 : dorismail@ids-doris.org Objet : [DORISMail] No 1142 : Jason-3 / CNES POE-F orbit standards Dear colleagues, The first Jason-3 precise orbits (cycles 95 and 96) in the new POE-F standards (previously GDR-E or POE-E standards) were delivered today to the CDDIS/IGN data servers. They are flagged with the version number VV=20 in the file name: /pub/doris/products/orbits/ssa/ja3/ssaja320.b18249.e18259.DG_.sp3.001.Z /pub/doris/products/orbits/ssa/ja3/ssaja320.b18259.e18269.DG_.sp3.001.Z (reminder of filename convention: ssaVV.bXXDDD.eYYEEE.dgs.sp3.LLL.Z where : ssa fixed part (=ssa pour SSALTO) sss =3D satellite three-character abbreviation : ja3 VV =3D version number of the solution (=20 for POE-F) b =3D fixed part ("begin") XX =3D last two digits of year of first position DDD =3D three-digit day of year of first position (2) e =3D fixed part ("end") YY =3D last two digits of year of last position EEE =3D three-digit day of year of last position (2) dgs =3D types of data used for the orbit determination d=3D "D" or "_" : if DORIS data are used or not g=3D "G" or "_" : if GPS data are used or not s=3D "S" or "_" : if SLR data are used or not sp3 =3D fixed part, referring to the SP3 format LLL =3D version number of the file) The previous Jason-3 precise orbits (cycles < 95) have been reprocessed and will be flagged with the same version number, when delivered to the CDDIS/IGN data servers. The old POE-E/GDR-E orbits (flagged with the version number 10) will then be moved to a new separate directory. The readme file included in the satellite directory will be updated accordingly. Sentinel-3A POE orbits will switch to the POE-F standards from the beginning of cycle 38 (end of the tandem period and during the drift phase). Sentinel-3B POE orbits will be produced in POE-F standards from the same date. Saral POE orbits will switch to the POE-F standards by the end of the year. Jason-2 and CryoSat-2 POE-F orbits will switch to the POE-F standards in 2019. HY-2A POE orbits will switch to the POE-F standards at a later stage, without being reprocessed. The reprocessing of the TOPEX/Poseidon POE orbits is currently being finalized and should be available by the end of this year. The reprocessing of the Jason-1 and Envisat POE orbits is not planned so far. Spot satellite orbits will not be reprocessed. A summary of the changes between the previous GDR-E/POE-E and the new POE-F POD standards can be found on the IDS web site on the page: ftp://ftp.ids-doris.org/pub/ids/data/POD_configuration_POEF.pdf Best regards, CNES POD Team ********************************************************* Alexandre Couhert Orbit Determination Department - Flight Dynamics Division CNES - Centre Spatial de Toulouse 18 Av.
