Subject: news of SARAL 




Dear colleagues,

As you may be informed,  SARAL/AltiKa satellite encountered since 3rd of 
February 2019 some issues with the Star trackers affecting the nadir pointing
accuracy. The quality of altimetry products can be degraded from time to time.
Doris measurements do not seem to be affected, except during strong depointments:

-   between February 4th, 20:46 and February 5th, 12:24

-   on February 13th, between 01:02 and 09:28
These periods are given in the Doris Report "SARAL - ARCxxx - DORIS data and 
final orbit delivery " / line Events.
ISRO Operational Team in charge of the platform is working in order to fix 
the issues and to recover a nominal mission as soon as possible, we keep you informed.
