Subject: DATA availability  during Jason-2 Safe Hold Mode






Dear colleague,


Jason-2 has been in Safe Hold Mode (SHM) several times since the last annou=
ncement (DORIS mail 1071), and this will occur again in the future due to  =
the gyro temperature problem.



We remind you that during these periods the DORIS system is ON,  but the DO=
RIS1B data and the DORIS orbits are not delivered.  However the DORIS DATA =
(in RINEX format) are still disseminated to IDS as well as the solar panel =
/ attitude quaternions files.  Note that their quality is degraded because =
of the SHM and the non-nominal attitude law.


The last periods concerned are:

-        2017/05/17   22:26 TU -> 2017/07/03   17:17 TU

-        2017/09/14   07:13 TU -> 2017/10/12  09:56 TU
