After maneuvers performed last 2 days, the satellite is located -20km (20,030m exactly!) under the 1336km reference orbit. The transit phase is on-going and OSTM/Jason-2 is slowly moving away from his little brother Jason-3. Altimetry measurements have been stopped on October 2nd at the end of cycle 303 and the last products available are JA2_OPN_2PdS303_252_20161002_091009_20161002_115332.nc (OGDR) and JA2_IPN_2PdP303_254_20161002_105720_20161002_115333.zip (IGDR). Operations continue on the altimeter with the upload of the new DEM. The next maneuvers to reach the final orbit will be on Tuesday and Wednesday next week (October 11th & 12th). For your records, here are the last SSHA measured by OSTM/Jason-2 on the reference ground track. T. Guinle on behalf the OSTM/Jason-2 project managers from CNES, JPL, NOAA and EUMETSAT
