Dear Colleagues,

We have implemented and tested a new SSALTO component (PANDOR) which improv=
es the accuracy of the date of the DORIS measurements in RINEX format:
The principle is to process on ground a time tagging of DORIS measurements =
and to replace the DORIS DIODE time tagging given in nominal RINEX by this =
new time tagging (replacement of the receiver clock offset parameter).=20
That new time tagging is obtained as estimation of both onboard and ground =
USO frequency (modelized by polynomials of degree 2 or 3) variations with r=
espect to a common beacon for which correspondence between TAI and its cloc=
k is well monitored.=20=20
The interest is to have a time tagging without steps that are observed with=
 DIODE time tagging (adjustments of the filter over time beacons).

So we plan to use it from January 20th, and deliver all RINEX data of all m=
issions (JASON2, CRYOSAT-2, HY-2A, SARAL)  using this new component.=20
Then, in the second time, we will redeliver all RINEX data from the beginni=
ng of all missions.=20

The name of the file available on IDS Data Centers will not change:

  srl: Saral;  h2a: HY-2A;  s3a: Sentinel3A;  s3b: Sentinel3B

Only the version number LLL  will change and  start at 010 in order to diff=
erentiate with the previous RINEX files we delivered.

Note that these new files  will be delivered with 3 days of latency (that m=
eans that the files delivered on January 20th will correspond to the day Ja=
nuary 17)

Then, as soon as we have processed with PANDOR the rest of the beginning of=
 all missions, we'll let you know, and deliver all these files once. It may=
 occur in May/June.
