The necessary site renovation and equipment replacement were not carried out because of delays in paperwork (custom clearance of equipment…). After this very long wait, the equipment was eventually installed in late October 2009. The beacon is now a third generation one. The antenna has been moved to a new support in order to improve its stability. The antenna is now supported by a 1 meter high, 30 cm sided very rigid metal tower, set on top of a 50 cm sided concrete block, standing on a corner of the terrace roof of the building. This new location is about 20 cm away from the former one. The acronym for the new reference point is KRBB and the transmissions from the new beacon and new antenna position started on October 24, 2009.
