****************************************************************************** dorismail 04-Jun-2009 08:23:43 Message No 0606 ****************************************************************************** Author: Pascal Willis Subject: DORIS Special Issue - extending deadline for submission Dear colleagues, The deadline for submission to the DORIS Special Issue in Advances in Space Research has been extended until July 31, 2009. Authors who still could not meet this new and final deadline are encouraged to contact me and to submit their contribution at any time in the AD Section (Astrodynamics and Space Debris) in which I am Editor. As long as such late articles do not delay the publication of the DORIS Special Issue, I would do my best as Editor to get these articles in the DORIS Special Issue as well. Otherwise, such very late articles would be published in future regular issues of the Journal. For your information, 3 manuscripts were already submitted and a complete review cycle is finished for the first one. Several more articles should be submitted in the next 2 weeks. I am still expecting a total of 25 to 35 manuscripts for this Special Issue. Authors are encouraged to contact me at any time, providing a tentative title, name and email of corresponding author, and co-authors, planned submission date. No abstract is necessary at this point. This is just for my own information to better organize the whole review process and in particular the reviewer selection. Submission must be done electronically using Elsevier EES Web site at http://ees.elsevier.com/asr (article type = S.I. DORIS for geodesy) Best regards Pascal Willis Guest Editor PS: Please note that files set up at the EES Web site (manuscript, tables, figures, electronic supplements) are deleted after 90 days if a manuscript is still not submitted. Do not forget to "confirm your submission" after building your PDF. After submission, you will get a confirmation email from Elevier. Files will not be deleted and are then archived at the EES Web site during the complete review cycle and until publication. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris Ph : +33-(0)1-57-27-84-81 GSP - UFR STEP / Paris 7 - Bat Lamarck FAX: +33-(0)1-57-27-84-82 5, rue Thomas Mann Case 7011 Em : willis@ipgp.jussieu.fr Paris 75205 Cedex 13, France http://www.ipgp.jussieu.fr/~willis/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
