Fagard" Subject: Coordinate update at Cibinong (Indonesia) Dear Colleagues, The coordinates of the new antenna position at Cibinong (CIDB), published in the DORISmail #0574, were derived from the geodetic connection to the permanent GPS station "BAKO". When I measured this connection, I checked the antenna height for the GPS antenna on BAKO, and found the same value as that published in the IGS site log (http://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/igscb/station/log/bako_20070101.log). But the antenna point to which this value refers is dubious: - bottom of the antenna ground plane according to the "Additional Information" field of item 4.27 of the current sitelog, - bottom of the preamplifier according to the "Antenna reference point". Following a discussion with IGS colleagues (Remi Ferland and Jim Ray), the corresponding 35 mm difference in height might not have been properly taken into account by the IGS analysis centers, which casts doubt on the quality of the ITRF2005 coordinates for BAKO. Therefore new coordinates for CIDB have been computed using the former DORIS antenna (CICB) as the fixed point in the adjustment. The updated ITRF2005, 2000.0 coordinates for CIDB are: X= -1836963.790 m Y= 6065627.188 m Z= -716217.325 m SigX = 0.003 m SigY = 0.003 m SigZ = 0.002 m I remind you the DPOD2005=ITRF2005 velocities for this site : VX = -0.0225 m/y VY = -0.0113 m/y VZ = -0.0043 m/y SigVX = 0.0006 m/y SigVY = 0.0006 m/y SigVZ = 0.0004 m/y Best regards, Herve Fagard -- ====================================================================== Herve FAGARD e-mail : herve.fagard@ign.fr Institut Geographique National 94165 SAINT-MANDE CEDEX PHONE : + 33 1 43 98 81 48 FRANCE FAX : + 33 1 43 98 84 50 ====================================================================== Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
