Fagard" Subject: Antenna support repair at Rikitea Dear Colleagues, Following the car bump on the lower section of the lattice tower which supports the antenna at Rikitea (see DORISmail #559), the tower and the supporting concrete block have been repaired. Before the removal of the tower, the offset of the 2 GHz phase center, resulting from this accident, was measured. It was 51 mm East, 54 mm South, and 2 mm higher than its initial position. After the tower replacement, the new antenna reference point is identified as RILB. Its DOMES number is 92301S002. Transmissions resumed on March 13, 2009. The vector from RIKB (itinial position) to RILB is: dE = 0.002 m ; dN = -0.015 m ; dh = 0.002 m. Hence the ITRF2005 @2000.0 coordinates for RILB, derived from the DPOD2005 coordinates of RIKB: X = -4147137.218 m Y = -4152219.575 m Z = -2490024.180 m (sigma: 3 mm) The ITRF2005 velocities for this site are: VX = -0.0565 m/y VY = 0.0385 m/y VZ = 0.0298 m/y Here is a summary of the operation periods for each antenna location: Code DOMES Start End Comment RIKB S001 2006-09-23 2008-06-04 Initial position RIKB S001 2008-06-04 2009-03-11 74 mm offset after car bump RILB S002 2009-03-13 - New position Best regards, Herve Fagard -- ====================================================================== Herve FAGARD e-mail : herve.fagard@ign.fr Institut Geographique National 94165 SAINT-MANDE CEDEX PHONE : + 33 1 43 98 81 48 FRANCE FAX : + 33 1 43 98 84 50 ====================================================================== Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
