****************************************************************************** dorismail 01-Mar-2009 07:57:47 Message No 0587 ****************************************************************************** Author: "Pascal Willis" Subject: DORIS Special Issue / JASR Web site now open for submissions Dear colleagues, Advances in Space Research is now ready to accept manuscripts for the DORIS Special Issue. See technical details below, as well as previous DORISMails on this subject. Manuscripts need to be submitted between March and June 2009 To avoid any delay in the publication (expected in early 2010), late submissions will not be considered for this Special Issue. I remind you that "in press" articles will be available with a DOI on the Journal Web site soon after being accepted on a manuscript by manuscript basis at : http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/02731177 Authors who have already contacted me should have received an earlier email from me in February. They will receive monthly information on the progress of the Special Issue until its publication. If you have not contacted me, it is still time for you to do so. Please feel free to recontact me at any time if you have any technical question concerning the article submission or the review process Best regards Pascal Willis Guest Editor -------- submissions need to be done through the Elsevier JASR Web site http://ees.elsevier.com/asr/default.asp as author, you first need to "register" to get a username and password. Please note that you get a unique username as author and as reviewer once, you get your username, you need to "log in" If you forget your username and password, you can still get it back by email, providing your firstname, last name and email address at any time To submit an article to the DORIS Special Issue, you need to select the following article type "S.I. DORIS for geodesy" (ie the last one in the list) Please remember that your article will only be submitted when you confirm that your PDF file is final. You can build as many PDF files as you want and distribute them internally to your co-authors. However, as Editor, I do not have access to your "incomplete submissions" After submission, you will get a confirmation email from Elsevier. I also suggest that you send me a short email to keep me informed and to avoid any delay or confusion. In return, you get an email from me, when your manuscript has been through the Elsevier technical screening and when I can see it in the JASR database. ----------------------------- Pascal Willis Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris UFR STEP / GSP Bat Lamarck Case 7011 75205 Paris Cedex 13 France Phone: +33-(0)1 57 27 84 81 Em: willis@ipgp.jussieu.fr http://www.ipgp.jussieu.fr/~willis ----------------------------- Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
