This station is dedicated to the T2L2 technical experience. This station is received only on Jason2. This station isn't a new station of the permanent network. It is a one or two years probatory experiment. The DORIS equipment consists of a third generation beacon without USO (connected to the OCA maser)and a Starec antenna. The antenna is supported by a metallic quadripod. Transmissions started on October 02, 2008, shifted frequencies mode K =-15 The name of the station is "Grasse " and its acronym is GR3B. No DOMES number required for this station. The connection between the antenna and GRAS 10002M006 -permanent GPS station of the IGS- was measured (the RGP station GRAC was out of order). The resulting ITRF2005 @ 2000.0 coordinates are for the DORIS antenna reference point : X=4581680.534 m Y= 556166.200 m Z= 4389371.429 m SigX = 0.005 m SigY = 0.005 m SigZ = 0.005 m The velocities for this site, (ITRF2005 GRAS velocities) VX = -0.0139 m/y VY = 0.0186 m/y VZ = 0.0116 m/y SigVX = 0.0002 m/y SigVY = 0.0001 m/y SigVZ = 0.0002 m/y Best regards, for the SALP/DORIS/T2L2/Jason-2 teams, Christian Jayles Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
