Here follow some details regarding the configuration that we are currently using for Jason-2 precise orbits at CNES. Please remind that all these values are subject to change, as they still need to be confirmed by the various POD groups during the next OSTST and IDS meetings (Nice, 10-14 Nov.). When a reference to Jason-1 is indicated, please visit the following link http://www.aviso.oceanobs.com/fr/calval/orbit/precise-orbit-determinatio n-verification/index.html A similar page will be created for Jason-2 once we achieve a higher level of confidence on the satellite model. Note that a few optical coefficients on the main body have changed. You will find the updated coefficients at http://ids.cls.fr/documents/report/AWG200806/IDSAWG0806_LCerri_Jason2POD Strategy.pdf Kind Regards, Luca __________________________________ Luca CERRI Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales DCT\SB\OR 18, av Edouard Belin 31401 Toulouse Cedex 09 - FRANCE tel. +33 (0)5 61283549 fax +33 (0)5 61281855 bpi 1323 email luca.cerri@cnes.fr Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
