Fagard" Subject: RIQB (Rio Grande) coordinates: erratum Dear Colleagues, I've just found an error in the coordinates of the new antenna reference point at Rio Grande, Argentina, published in the DORISMail #0536. The ITRF2000 and ITRF2005 values of two position components (Y and Z) were swapped (ITRF2000 <--> ITRF2005, not Y <--> Z). The correct values are: ITRF2000, 1997.0: X= 1429899.226 m Y= -3495323.780 m Z= -5122723.862 m SigX = 0.002 m SigY = 0.003 m SigZ = 0.004 m The ITRF2000 velocities for this site are : VX = 0.0079 m/y VY = -0.0102 m/y VZ = 0.0028 m/y SigVX = 0.0007 m/y SigVY = 0.0009 m/y SigVZ = 0.0011 m/y ITRF2005, 2000.0: X= 1429899.248 m Y= -3495323.806 m Z= -5122723.846 m SigX = 0.002 m SigY = 0.002 m SigZ = 0.002 m VX = 0.0082 m/y VY = -0.0100 m/y VZ = 0.0035 m/y SigVX = 0.0001 m/y SigVY = 0.0001 m/y SigVZ = 0.0001 m/y The recently released version 1.2 of the DPOD2005 solution is not affected by this mistake. The vector between RIPB and RIQB, which I provided to the analysis centres and was used to determine the DPOD2005 coordinates for RIQB, is correct. I apologize for any trouble this mistake of mine may have caused.
