Since the 13 of November 2007 at 13:55 its DORIS instrument is in Fixed-Frequency Doppler Search mode (so-called "waiting mode"). This may slightly affect the quality of measurements. SPOT-2 recently encountered some incidents: - spacecraft survival mode from November 29, 20:00 to December 2, 0h30. No direct impact on the DORIS instrument but the spacecraft attitude could have been affected. - DORIS incident on December 5, 12:00. Back to nominal mode on December 20, 22h27 The beacon of Everest (THUB) is off since October, 18th and might have to be replaced in Early 2008 The beacon of Thule (THUB) is off and has to be replaced The beacon of Manila (MANB) is off since August, 3nd and has to be replaced. the new beacon is on site and should be installed soon. The beacon of Ponta Delgada (PDMB)is off since October, 5th. New cables arrived on site and should replace the old ones soon. The beacon of Tristan Da Cunha (TRIB) is now operating Nominal Mode.
