Fagard" Subject: Antenna change and raising at Yellowknife Dear Colleagues, The DORIS antenna at Yellowknife (Canada), installed in October 2001, has been replaced with a new one - same model - raised by 15 cm to allow the removal of the N-type bent adaptors located at the base of the antenna. Transmissions from the old antenna (YELB) stopped on May 15, 2007, and resumed on May 16 after the antenna replacement and moving in height. The acronym for the new reference point is YEMB. The DOMES number for the new antenna reference point is 40127S009. The vector from YELB to YEMB is: dE = 0.001 m; dN = 0.001 m; dh = 0.150 m. Hence the ITRF2000, 1997.0 coordinates for YEMB: X = -1224405.026 m Y = -2689216.489 m Z = 5633649.758 m (sigma: 4 mm) I remind you the ITRF2000 velocities for this site: VX = -0.0208 m/y VY = -0.0044 m/y VZ = -0.0009 m/y SigVX = 0.0002 m/y SigVY = 0.0003 m/y SigVZ = 0.0006 m/y Best regards, Herve Fagard -- ====================================================================== Herve FAGARD e-mail : herve.fagard@ign.fr Institut Geographique National 94165 SAINT-MANDE CEDEX PHONE : + 33 1 43 98 81 48 FRANCE FAX : + 33 1 43 98 84 50 ====================================================================== Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
