****************************************************************************** DORISMail 21-Jun-2005 15:50:00 Message No 0390 ****************************************************************************** Author: "H. Fagard" Subject: Male (Maldives): frequency change and updated coordinates Dear Colleagues, The DORIS station at Male (Maldives), installed on January 15 and transitting in shifted frequencies mode since then, will be switched to the central frequencies transmitting mode in a few days. This will allow it to be received on all DORIS-equiped satellites. On the other hand, updated coordinates could be computed for this station, after most of the missing data from the nearby IGS station MALD could be recovered. The following ITRF2000 @ 2004.0 coordinates for the DORIS antenna reference point (MALB), were computed from the MALD coordinates available at: http://sideshow.jpl.nasa.gov/mbh/all/table.txt X= 1803683.252 m Y= 6100015.229 m Z= 463192.906 m SigX = 0.002 m SigY = 0.004 m SigZ = 0.002 m Please note that the reference epoch (which is that of JPL's coordinates file) is different from the one in the DORISmail No 0371. The velocities for this site, taken from the same source, have been updated in the meantime: VX = -0.0448 m/y VY = 0.0065 m/y VZ = 0.0316 m/y SigVX = 0.0010 m/y SigVY = 0.0018 m/y SigVZ = 0.0004 m/y Best regards, Herve Fagard -- ====================================================================== Herve FAGARD e-mail : herve.fagard@ign.fr Institut Geographique National 94165 SAINT-MANDE CEDEX PHONE : + 33 1 43 98 81 48 FRANCE FAX : + 33 1 43 98 84 50 ====================================================================== Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
