[DORISMail] No 0378 : Special Issue on DORIS / Journal of Geodesy / status Dear colleagues, following my previous email on this subject (DORISMail #364 http://list.ensg.ign.fr/wws/arc/dorismail/2005-01 ) I am glad to announce that this proposal has generated a lot of interest within the DORIS community. Presently, I have received 14 firm proposals of articles including tentative titles and preliminary lists of co-authors. I have also been contacted by 6 other colleagues or groups of colleagues who are currently considering a possible proposal. In total, the 20 potential authors belongs to 16 different groups representing 6 different countries. So basically, we should be able to have a full Special Issue in the Journal of Geodesy including probably more than 15 papers. Manuscripts will need to be submitted between September and October 2005. The review process will be done in parallel on a paper-per-paper basis as soon as they are received. I will do my best to keep the review process within a reasonable time frame. More technical information on this DORIS Special Issue will be provided through a future DORISMail around the end of June. If you have not already confirmed the title of your manuscript or if you want to make a new proposal please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. Please also verify that all your co-authors receive the DORISMails ( http://list.ensg.ign.fr/wws/arc/dorismail ) Best regards Pascal NB: General information on the Journal of Geodesy specifications can be found at http://www.springeronline.com/sgw/cda/frontpage/0,11855,4-10008-70-1101678-detailsPage%253DcontentItemPage%2526contentItemId%253D130326%2526CIPageCounter%253DCI_FOR_AUTHORS_AND_EDITORS_PAGE1,00.html -- Pascal Willis Jet Propulsion Laboratory, MS 238-646 Ph : 1-818-393-4748 4800 Oak Grove Drive FAX: 1-818-393-4965 Pasadena CA 91109 Em : Pascal.R.Willis@jpl.nasa.gov
