****************************************************************************** DORISMail 28-Dec-2004 15:46:33 Message No 0363 ****************************************************************************** Author: Tavernier Gilles Subject: DORIS Data exchange Format Dear colleagues, Following recommendations from the DORIS receiver manufacturer, we recently decided to edit the so-called "central frequency measurements" during pre-processing: measurements around a "null Dopller" (radial velocity close to 0m/s) might be erroneous. We performed some tests to assess the impact of such measurement: it is negligible. As only a few measurements are affected for each pass, we nevertheless decided to edit them and slightly modify the DORIS Data exchange Format: We added a new value to the preprocessing indicators (33-35): 35 0 = point considered to be good 1 = point edited during pre-processing 2 = point edited during post-processing 3 = central frequency measurement edited during pre-processing This will be a version 2.2 of the DORIS Data exchange Format.
