Fagard" Subject: Station renovation at Badary (Russia) Dear Colleagues, The DORIS station at Badary (Russia), installed in November 1991, has been completely renovated. Following a beacon failure in August 2002, no data has been available from this station for the last two years. The new Starec antenna is supported by a one meter metal tower, bolted on a large aluminium plate, on the upper terrace of a 13 m high brick building. A new beacon (3.0 model) has been installed. Transmissions from the new antenna started on August 11. The acronym for the new reference point is BADB. The DOMES number for the new antenna reference point is 12338S002.
