****************************************************************************** DORISMail 15-Jan-2004 18:58:15 Message No 0288 ****************************************************************************** Author: Pascal Willis Subject: availability of DORIS IGN/JPL new products (using GRACE gravity Dear colleagues, Happy New Year for 2004 to all of you. We would like to inform you that following the availability of the new GRACE-derived gravity field, we have entirely reprocessed all available DORIS data from 1993.0 up to now. All these files are now available at CDDIS and IGN, following the IDS specifications (http://lareg.ensg.ign.fr/IDS/doc/struct_dc.html) You can now find the following products at the 2 IDS Data Centers : DORIS weekly sinex solutions in free-network (ignwd04) and in ITRF2000 (ignwd05) ftp:cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/doris/products/sinex_series/ignwd/ign*wd0[4-5].snx.Z ftp:lareg.ensg.ign.fr/pub/doris/products/sinex_series/ignwd/ign*wd0[4-5].snx.Z geocenter variations : 1993.0 - up to now ftp:cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/doris/products/geoc/ign03wd01.geoc.Z ftp:lareg.ensg.ign.fr/pub/doris/products/geoc/ign03wd01.geoc.Z Earth Orientation Parameters : 1993.0 - up to now ftp:cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/doris/products/eop/ign03wd01.eop.Z ftp:lareg.ensg.ign.fr/pub/doris/products/eop/ign03wd01.eop.Z DORIS global position/velocity solution in free-network (ign03d01) and in ITRF2000 (ign03d02) ftp:cddisa.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/doris/products/sinex_global/ign ftp:lareg.ensg.ign.fr/pub/doris/products/sinex_global/ign All these files are given with the relevant information in description files as specified. In order to prepare the IERS Pilot campaign, we have also started to compute the DORIS data on a regular basis. So when new DORIS data becomes available, we produce the relevant weekly solutions and we also now update the geocenter and EOP solution in a timely manner. Finally, it seems that some people could make use of more frequent DORIS global solutions (positions coordinates and velocities using a cumulative approach including all available DORIS data since 1993.0). We are now considering to derive such solutions that could be put at CDDIS and IGN and regularly updated (every 3-4 months?) in SINEX format. These results could be also be given in a HTML format for easier access on internet. People interested by such new cumulative solutions are encouraged to contact us to better define their needs and help us finalize our data processing. Feedback would also be very much appreciated in order to improve future submissions Best regards Pascal -- Pascal Willis Jet Propulsion Laboratory, MS 238-646 Ph : 1-818-393-4748 4800 Oak Grove Drive FAX: 1-818-393-4965 Pasadena CA 91109 Em : Pascal.R.Willis@jpl.nasa.gov Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
