Subject: [DORISMail] No 0215 : Registration for the DORIS Analysis Workshop ****************************************************************************** DORISMail 10-Jan-2003 14:48:27 Message No 0215 ****************************************************************************** Author: Martine Feissel-Vernier Subject: Registration for the DORIS Analysis Workshop Dear colleagues See information on the workshop and the registration form at http://lareg.ensg.ign.fr/IDS/events/wkshp_2003.html The goals of the workshop are: * discuss analysis strategies and problems related to station history (antenna(s), local ties, ...) or receiver aspects (clocks,...); * discuss recent analysis (new satellites) and recent orbits results. Analysis groups will be asked to provide such results before the meeting - as soon as the new datacenter structure is set up (nominal date: 15 January 2003); * outline what could be the major IDS products: terrestrial reference frame monitoring? geocenter monitoring? orbits? Who would be the IDS users? * discuss IDS practical issues: should we proceed and create an IDS? How do we go from here to an actual IDS (IAG procedure to be followed)? What are the minimum actions that groups need to do before the IUGG Sapporro meeting and after that on a regular basis? This meeting is our only chance to have such a discussion. The workshop will include invited and contributed presentations, oral or posted, with ample time for discussion. Participants are invited to propose contributions. Please note that the nearby hotels tend to fill up quickly. Don't wait too late to book a room. Registration deadline: 31 JANUARY 2003 Martine Feissel-Vernier Analysis Coordinator DORIS Pilot Experiment Please do not reply directly to this message, but send comments and suggestions to IDS.central.bureau@cls.fr
