Subject: New antenna at Arequipa (Peru): coordinates update 


Dear Colleagues,

As John Ries and Pascal Willis have noticed, the preliminary 
coordinates for the new DORIS antenna at Arequipa (AREB), that were 
provided in the DORISmail #146, were based on pre-earthquake 
coordinates for the IGS station AREQ, which are the only ones listed 
in the ITRF2000 solution.

Here are ITRF2000 @ 2002.0 coordinates for AREB, derived from JPL's 
post-earthquake coordinates for the IGS station (available at 
http://sideshow.jpl.nasa.gov/mbh/all/table.txt):

X =   1942803.375 m	Y =  -5804071.413 m	Z =  -1796922.144 m
(sigma: 1 cm)
