Fagard Title: Antenna change and moving at Yellowknife (Canada) Dear Colleagues, The DORIS Alcatel antenna at Yellowknife, installed 12 years ago, has been replaced with a Starec antenna, installed on a 2 m high concrete pillar, built on bedrock according to Geomatics Canada's specifications for Active Control Points, i.e. anchored at 3 m deep in the rock. The acronym for the new reference point is YELB. Transmissions from the former antenna position stopped on October 16, and resumed from the new one on October 19. The DOMES number for the new antenna reference point is 40127S008. Its coordinates (ITRF2000, 1997.0) are: X = -1224405.00 m Y = -2689216.43 m Z = 5633649.62 m (sigma: 1 cm) The ITRF2000 velocities for this site are: VX = - 0.0208 m/y VY = - 0.0044 m/y VZ = - 0.0009 m/y Best regards, Herve Fagard
