On the 28 of january, the satellite SPOT4 has been transported by an Antonov (Heavyfret company, UK) from Toulouse to Cayenne (French Guyana). The satellite was spilled in two parts: platform and payload. Once in the CSG in Kourou, the satellite and the teams CNES and MMS in charge of the integration and tests were settled at the S1 (integration building). There, the satellite has been reassembled, the payload and the platform have been coupled electrically, thermally, ... DORIS tests have been conducted by the DORIS team: Albert AURIOL, DORIS/SPOT4 Project Manager, Murielle COSTES, DORIS System Manager, Jacques MASSAY, Integration and Tests Responsible, Jean-Bernard LAPORTE, USO Responsible, Cecile JOUVE, Antenna Responsible, Roseline QUINTARD, Project Control. These tests have proved the good functionning and performances of the DORIS instrument. (Environment whithout jamming) Doppler 400 MHz (mHz)=3D 0,85 (Toulouse); 0,81 (S1, Kourou); <2 (specification) Doppler 2 GHz (mHz)=3D 1,32 (Toulouse); 1,34 (S1, Kourou); <1,45 (specification) Datation (ms) =3D 1,34 (Toulouse); 1,02 (S1, Kourou); <10 (specification) The thermal isolation will be sealed up at the antenna, to prevent from solar multipath, before leaving S1 building. This week, the Integration Review after S1 will take place on friday 27th. Then, the satellite will go into S3 building to fill up his tanks whith hydrazyn. After this risky operation, the satellite will be weighted, and then placed inside the fairing of an Ariane 4 launcher. The date of the launch is planned in the evenig of the 20th of march.
