Las testing on the satellite were conducted by MMS Toulouse this week. The satellite will be transported in two pieces (PPF+CU) to the European Space Port in French Guyana beginning 1998. The launch campaign will start mid-january until launch. DORIS-DIODE/SPOT4 passed the last testing successfully. It is a great challenge for DORIS: it is the first time that DIODE, real time on-board orbit determination, will be operating. The DIODE performances awaited are: 3m / 3 axes and 1 m ont the radial component. For the DORIS users, and all people interested, please note that CNES is developping a web-site. This site will be active around end february. Information about the campaign, launch operations, the satellite and its passengers will be accessible. The site's address will be available in the next Dorismail. The DORIS project team whish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all.
