The former beacon (ORRA) had stopped transmitting several months ago, on March 19, 1996. A new beacon (model 2.0) has been installed on September 28, 1996, but it has been working for 2 days only. A new beacon has been sent, which began transmitting on January 12, 1997, and has been working well since then. The Alcatel antenna (type A) has been replaced by a Starec antenna (type B), centered above the same mark. The reference point of the new antenna is 0.240 m ABOVE the reference point of the former antenna. Its DOMES number is 50103S202. The acronym in the data files for this new station is : ORRB.
